Welcome to CommodityTrade

We are a trading-house for commodities, such as electricity, gas and emissions certificates.

Our dynamic team of energy market experts offers our customers interesting trade products. Professional conduct, transparent price terms, as well as expeditious billing and payment distinguish our business.

Within a very short time CommodityTrade has succeeded in becoming a reliable trading partner on the European power and CO2 market. In particular, this has been due to our consistency in risk management.
As a risk manager, CommodityTrade acts as an intermediary between the buyer and the seller, and in doing so, is always a co-contractor with both of them.
Our motive for doing this is the customer’s order; however, CommodityTrade also operates independently of customer contracts on the basis of our own market appraisal. CommodityTrade itself is partially accredited on the market or provides access to the most important markets through our substantial networks.

Reliability and continuity are two important pillars of our customer relations. Before we enter into a business relationship with a client, a comprehensive „Know-your-Customer“ process takes place, which is both in our interest and the interests of our existing customers.
This process requires some time; however, in light of recent developments in the energy markets, it is needed more than ever.

We require the following information, among other things, from all interested parties:
  • Trade register statement
  • Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Details about the Organization
  • Business Report

We would like to state expressly that CommodityTrade does not engage in propriety trading or commissions business with energy derivatives that are subject to financial regulation. In light of current events, we would also like to point out that we applaud and support all of the efforts and activities of the authorities and institutions, which take action against criminal machinations within the energy market. As a new business, it is essential that our market partners trust us. For this reason, we have a strict „know your customer“ process and challenge our trading partners to engage in these security measures too, in the interest of trustworthy trading.
